UNSHAKABLE

The Disciple Journey

A Salvation Story Told Through Music, Mission, and Community

WHY A DISCIPLE JOURNEY?

Carolina Worship’s Unshakable Project is Not Just Music — It is a Pathway of Formation.

Each song is a chapter in the salvation story, designed to draw listeners into Scripture, spiritual practice, and community witness. When joined together, these chapters form a modern catechesis: a way of teaching and living the faith through worship, mission, and discipleship.

Theological Foundations

Arc of Salvation
(Catechesis through Worship)

Creation & Calling → Encounter & Hope → Confession & the Cross → Witness & Testimony → Resurrection & Victory.

Anchors

• Nicene / Apostles’ Creeds (orthodox grounding).

• Soteriology: Grace through Christ alone.

• Christology: Incarnation, Atonement, Resurrection.

• Pneumatology: The Spirit’s call and empowerment.

• Ecclesiology: One body, many members.

• Eschatology: Already / Not Yet kingdom.

Guardrails

• Christ-centered, Cross-shaped.

• Rejects prosperity gospel, self-centered distortion.

• Testimony ≠ self-promotion.

• Accessible language without diluting doctrine.

THE DISCIPLE JOURNEY

Program Structure

The Disciple Journey is built around five chapters that align with both the songs and the Christian calendar.

Each chapter includes:

  2. Biblical Texts – Primary and secondary Scripture anchors.

  3. Discipleship Challenge – A practice that moves faith into daily life.

  4. Church Kit – Free resources for worship leaders, pastors, and groups.

Building the Program in Your Church or Community

Adopt the Calendar

  • Align each chapter with the Christian season (All Saints, Advent, Lent, Palm Sunday, Easter).

  • Build your small group and preaching calendar around the releases.

Integrate Music & Mission

  • Each song becomes both a worship anthem and a discipleship practice.

  • Encourage congregations to sing, then step into the weekly challenges.

Provide Resources Freely

  • Sheet music, instrumentals, slides, and small group guides are free for churches.

  • This lowers the barrier for adoption across denominations.

Encourage Testimony & Sharing

  • Challenges are designed for social media witness.

  • Churches highlight testimonies, ensuring gospel-centered sharing.

Celebrate & Multiply

  • Close each chapter with testimonies, prayer, and sending.

  • Encourage global connection — show that the Church is bigger than any one place.

Invitation to Join

The Disciple Journey is not just for musicians or pastors. It is for anyone who wants to live the salvation story, chapter by chapter, season by season. Together, we will learn to listen for God’s voice, glimpse His light, confess His sufficiency, testify to His grace, and rejoice in His victory.
